Transform your desk life!

More energy. Less stress. Better balance.
Welcome to my website! As a physical therapist, I have treated a lot of desk workers. When I transitioned to remote desk work, I realized how much knowledge I had in order to stay active and healthy in spite of sitting long hours at my desk. I wanted to share this knowledge to help others be proactive and to prevent pain and fatigue while working at their desks. I also struggled with burnout as a physical therapist and wanted to teach others the stress coping strategies I wish I knew earlier in my career.

As a certified health coach, I am on a mission to decrease the incidence of burnout in desk workers, especially women, so they can thrive personally and professionally!

My Health Coaching Journey
I’m a licensed physical therapist in North Carolina with 15 years of outpatient orthopedic experience. In 2020, I transitioned to remote work, helping individuals with chronic diseases find specialists and supporting clinical trial participants. In 2023, I discovered motivational interviewing and health coaching, approaches that help clients build confidence and take ownership of their health. Inspired, I completed Medbridge courses in Motivational Interviewing and Telehealth, learning how to guide clients effectively and provide convenient, virtual care.

In January 2025, I became a Certified Health Coach (CHC) through the National Society of Health Coaches. Using these skills, I’ve made positive changes in my own life and have supported my loved ones as well. Now, as the founder of Living Your Desk Life, LLC, I am passionate about helping women who work primarily at a desk in remote and hybrid settings. I help them live healthier, more balanced lives by improving their activity levels, improving their ability to manage stress, and optimizing their workspaces for comfort and productivity. I understand the challenges of working at home and serve as a supportive accountability partner to help them achieve lasting change.

If you struggle with fatigue or “turning off” work mode, I’d love to help you thrive both at your desk and beyond.
Let’s get moving and take great care of our minds and bodies!
